To help operate the Mix & Match platform, we charge a booking fee for airfares booked on our website or via our call centre.
The Mix & Match booking fee enables us to bring you the very best airfares available every day, as well as the flexibility to mix and match one way and return fares on all of your favourite airlines to and from your destination.
In addition to maintaining our award-winning website, you have access to a number of free features associated with your booking including the free Mix & Match app & customer support via our New Zealand-based call centre.
Online booking fees
We charge a booking fee per person every time a flight booking is confirmed. The amount of booking fee varies based on the destination the customer is travelling to. The exact amount of the booking fee is displayed on the Traveller Details page before the customer confirms a booking

Above online booking fees are non-refundable and are charged per adult and child (there is no fee for infants). The fee is the same for one-way or return bookings.

Above offline booking or service fees are per person, per ticket, per change or cancellation and are non-refundable. These are in addition to any supplier or airline charges.
- For same day cancellations you must call our team before 11pm on the same day as booking. Airline fare rules apply after this. Standard cancellation fees apply per person.
*If you've used Afterpay or Laybuy to purchase your flight, you will still be responsible for any outstanding payments until a refund is received from the airline. This can take approximately 6-10 weeks. If your fare is non-refundable you will still be responsible for all payments if you cancel your flight.
